Les Néréides Loves Animals presents Jean André (@jean_andre), a French artist based in Paris and his cat André @andre_chat.
– Who is he ?
André, he has been my roommate for 10 months.
– Can you tell us about your first meeting ?
He came to my house with Alice, a friend who’d raised him since he was born in April and we immediately clicked.
I offered to lodge him for a while and he liked it. He is now my best roomate (even if he has never paid rent and swears to me that he registered at the job centre to find some work).
– What’s his best quality?
Sweet
– Does he have a nickname and if so, why?
Dédé! It’s his little pet name. Dédé the menace.
My girlfriend calls him Ronronus because he’s a purring machine.
– What does his presence bring you on a daily basis ?
It soothes me a lot to have a little being to look after, I almost feel like his dad more than his roommate.
His well-being, his education and his life rest on my shoulders and I try my best for him to have a beautiful life with me.
