Les Néréides Loves Animals has assisted an association located in Afghanistan: Nowzad DOGS. And this meeting was a real stroke of heart !
In 2006, the arrival of a Royal Marine commando in the small town of Now Zad in Afghanistan has changed the lives of so many animals. These soldiers realized that not only the local people needed help, but also the many stray dogs in the city.
Sergeant Pen Farthing decided to create this structure, the only animal shelter in Afghanistan. They now rescue and take care of animals before finding them a family.
Their work is remarkable because of the area they are living in and the many dangers it implies. The association Les Néréides Loves Animals intervened twice to give them a little boost !
