The association “Cheval 3ème âge” was founded in 1992 by Edith Joos, after she saved a horse from slaughter.
Since then, the association has continued to help horses, providing them a haven of peace, a “three-star retreat” where they are treated with generosity and affection, respecting their rhythm of life, their daily needs and age.
The association “Cheval 3ème âge” has also been working with groups of disabled or socially challenged children and teenagers in therapy programs aiming at developing their relationship skills.
Horses gathered by the association have more specific needs as they age, which is a heavy financial burden. Les Néréides Loves Animals has contributed to this need by making a donation to help continue taking good care of its residents!
