“Au Bonheur des 4 pattes ” is an association founded in 2002, located in Nimes (South of France). The association aims at accommodating, caring, feeding and bringing comfort to many abandoned or abused cats and dogs.Since its beginning, the association has rescued more than 3,000 animals.
This association actively campaigns for sterilization of dogs and cats. Indeed, for example, an unsterilized kitten can have several litters per year, many thousands of kittens in a few year. For ten kittens, only one will be adopted, and associations have reached their saturation point. With the grants, a small structure can ensure the sterilization of 25 animals. In reality, each association sterilizes more than 1.500 per year… and therefore needs funds.
Like any structure, this association needs to collect funds … and mainly lives on the generosity of donors.
Affected by its values and tenacity, Les Néréides Loves Animals wanted to be part of these contributors, and helped the association to pay their bills to a veterinarian.
